As for the saints
Who are in the land,
They are the glorious ones
In whom is all My delight.
Psalm 16:3
.
..
You are God’s glorious one. He takes great delight in you. God is with you and He rejoices over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). God loves you as He loves Jesus (John 17:23). Amazing!

Your love is healing.
Please give them Your peace.
Use me to reveal Your love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

To all…who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7

His word is in my heart like a fire…
Jeremiah 20:9
My Dad has started writing poetry; I love it when people surprise me. His favorite style of poetry is haiku, and he has written over 2,000 since August 2008. I asked him to write about fire and he sent me these two poems.
I can go no other place
And find the abiding peace
In quiet He comes with fire
Lighting up my soul
And find the abiding peace
In quiet He comes with fire
Lighting up my soul
Come be the fire inside me
Your presence is what I need
To make Your presence real here
This is my desire

“I am willing.” Jesus
Luke 5:13
Jesus says, “I am willing…”
-to give you peace (Luke 7:50, Psalm 29:11)
-to be your friend (John 15:15, Luke 5:20)
-to pray for you (Hebrews 7:25)
-to give you a full life (John 10:10)
-to show you the way you should go (John 14:6, Psalm 32:8)
-to prepare a place for you (John 14:2)
-to make your joy complete (John 16:24)
-to help you in your time of need (Hebrews 4:16)
-to give you strength (Psalm 29:11)
-to surround you with love (Psalm 32:10)
Questions I am asking myself:
What am I willing to let Jesus do for me?
What am I willing to do for Jesus?
Thank you to Jill Davis for sharing Luke 5:13 with me.

Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.
Proverbs 3:17
This verse is special to me because it reminds me of my “Mama Sherrill,” my adopted grandmother. Two years ago today, she went home to be with the Lord. She radiated God’s presence and His peace; her pleasant ways and peace were because of her daily focus on Him.

The Peace of God
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds
in Christ Jesus.
so “do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything,
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.”
Philippians 4:7&6
